About Us: The Indian Theological Seminary (ITS) Library fully computerized with Koha Integrated Library System since 2018. Our library books classified according to the DDC System. ITS library continues to fulfill its role as the heart of the institution and as an integral part of the educational system. We are glad to inform that both the students and faculty have been richly benefitted by using all the facilities in the library. It provides resources and services to support the learning, teaching and research needs of users of the college. The library is improving by adding new books and journals and other requirements including the development of the E-Library.
Library Timings: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, Night Library 8.00pm - 10.00 pm
Saturday 8.30 am - 1.00 pm. The library is closed on Sundays.
Resources: The library is holding around 16,000 volumes covering different departments namely Biblical Studies, Theology and Ethics, Christian Ministry, Psychology, History of Christianity, Mission, Religion, Languages.In the Reference ResourcesEncyclopedia of Britannica, other Encyclopedias, Biblical Commentaries. Lexicons, Oxford handbooks, Dictionaries, Theological Dictionaries, Concordance, Bibles.We are getting these books from the national as well as the international publishers. We are Updating our library with 1000 to 1500 books every year.We are subscribing both National and International scholarly journals. Weekly magazines and Daily News Papers.
